Instead i was wondering why my gpu is sitting at 70 degrees while idle(i didn't have the program running). I said this is a con because i was hoping for plug and play. You also have to make sure that the program auto starts when the computer turns on or you will have to manually open the program to start the fans every time you turn the computer on. if you install the program you will get up to 2800ish rpm when you need it (pro). the fans do not turn on at all until 70 degrees and it will only go to 500-600 rpm. For anyone thinking of getting this card i'm currently getting 140 fps ultra settings in pubg 1920x1080p, i5 8600k (not oc)Ĭons: be very careful! you have to use evga precision product to turn on the fans. this is for the improved cooling so it could be a pro or con depending on your case.
